On March 19, ZSG at Nankai University and the Alberto Lleras Camargo School of Government at Universidad de los Andes co-organized a virtual meeting and signed the cooperative agreement.

Executive Dean Xiaolin WU of ZSG and Dean Maria Margarita Zuleta of Alberto Lleras Camargo School of Government attended the meeting and introduced their schools respectively.

Faculties of both sides joined the meeting and presented ideas of future cooperation in potential areas, including Vice Dean Ning ZHANG of  ZSG, Prof.Jianwen LIU from political science department, Director Cuiwen WANG of  the International Relations Department, Deputy director Falin ZHANG of the National Security Research Institute and Professor Yanling QI from the Department of Public Administration. Faculties from Universidad de los Andes are Professor Miguel García, Chair of the Department of Political Science and Global Studies, professor Camilo Gonzalez, Director of the Department of Public Management, and Professor Sebastian Giraldo in Asian studies.

Executive Dean Xiaolin WU and Dean Maria Margarita Zuleta exchanged greetings and elaborated on the situation of their respective colleges in terms of the departmental organization, faculty and student numbers, scientific research programs, and international exchanges. Both sides expressed that signing the cooperation agreement would be beneficial for the further development of partnership and friendship.

Based on the agreement and the discussion of the meeting, both sides will take the lead in boosting cooperation in student exchange, academic lectures and collaborative research in the future.
