Established in May 2004, the Zhou Enlai School of Government comprises the departments of political science, international relations, administration management, sociology, social work and social policy, social psychology, Institute of Higher Education and the MPA/MSW/MAP Center. The school covers 4 first-level disciplines including political science, sociology, public management, psychology, 18 academic master majors, 11 doctoral majors, 3 doctoral degrees conferring spots of first -level disciplines, and 4 master degrees conferring spots of first -level disciplines. Political theory (secondary discipline) is the national key discipline, sociology (secondary discipline) is the key discipline of Tianjin.
